Airflow visualizations are an indispensable instrument for quality assurance and for meeting regulatory requirements.
What is an airflow visualization?
Airflow visualizations make air currents visible in cleanrooms, isolators and safety cabinets. Using a special di-fog, the airflow is recorded on video and evaluated.
Regulatory requirement
Airflow visualizations are of decisive importance for aseptic filling and are explicitly required by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and the EMA. They demonstrate unidirectional airflow and protect the product against microbial contamination.
